For our family wood has always been work and life for over a hundred years.
Mamo Legnami is situated in the Province of Asti with three mills: one in Tonco since 1972, where large-scale production is concentrated, in Montechiaro since 1990 and since 2001 in the town of Asti and 2005 saw the opening of the new, modern mill in Strada Cascina Cauda, with a total covered surface area of 9,000m2 and a 50,000 m2 service area. Thanks to the expertise and efficiency of its team of staff, together with the latest technology Mamo Legnami can process more than 70,000 m3 of logs per year.
The company can supply sawings of Fir, Larch, Douglas fir, Oak, Chestnut, Poplar and Acacia in various forms: squared timber, uso Fiume (parallel sides along entire length), uso Trieste (squared on four faces), uncut or planed. It also offers additional machining such as shaping, prefabricated roofs, treatments, raking cuts for ridges, trussed roof assembly, oak and chestnut planks, dried, trimmed, planed and with ledges or hinged, in various measurements, to combine with beams for roofs of these characteristics. It has a wide range of semi-finished packing products in many various sizes both resinous and hard woods.
A competent team of surveyors is always on hand to resolve any design problems. Mamo Legnami is eco-friendly: all raw materials originate from plantations in France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria and not from deforestation, furthermore all its waste material from the machining processes is transformed into chips for use as fuel.
Wood is a valuable and renewable raw material.
